BANKPASS Web: the system that allows retailers to manage payments
online made with both credit and PagoBancomat cards. It is promoted by ABI and involves 90% of the banking system, and so is offered
as the standard security solution for online transactions.

A secure system.
BANKPASS Web guarantees maximum security for both retailers and
customers. The BANKPASS server has a Verisign 128-bit Secure Server Certificate.

Two methods of payment.
Once on a BANKPASS Web partner site, customers can
complete their purchase by choosing one of two methods of payment:

1) Standard
For customers who do not own a BANKPASS virtual wallet. In this case
payment is made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Diners,
American Express, JCB). The retailer offers a solution that guarantees
maximum security in the transfer of sensitive credit card data, and maximum functionality and flexibility in the management of
transactions. In fact, in the case of orders that are to be only partially filled or rejected, the back-office application available to the retailer
allows payment to be wholly or partially cancelled.

2) BANKPASS
For consumers who own a BANKPASS virtual wallet. BANKPASS virtual wallet holders can make payments through the service in the utmost security without having to enter their credit card details and may also
use their PagoBancomat card. The retailer has the maximum level of
assurance, as the transaction may not be rejected in the event
of it being disputed by the cardholder.

On completion of the payment phase, customers are redirected back
to the retailer's site where they may continue to browse. The service
sends a communication to the customer via e-mail to confirm
that the transaction was concluded successfully.
